Welcome to Rent My Timeshares (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Rent My Timeshares website, services, and platform (collectively, the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding agreements.
- By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Our Services
- Rent My Timeshares provides a marketplace where timeshare owners (“Owners”) can list available stays and renters (“Guests”) can book them.
- We are not a real estate broker, travel agency, or property manager. We act solely as an intermediary platform.
3. Account Registration
- Users must create an account to list or book a timeshare.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
4. Listings & Bookings
- Owners are responsible for the accuracy, availability, and legality of their listings.
- Guests are responsible for reviewing all listing details before booking.
- A booking is considered confirmed once payment is processed and the Owner accepts the reservation.
5. Payments & Fees
- Payments are processed through our third-party payment provider.
- Rent My Timeshares may charge service fees to Guests and/or Owners, which will be disclosed at checkout.
- You authorize us to deduct applicable fees from payouts or payments.
6. Cancellations & Refunds
- Each listing may include its own cancellation policy, which applies to that booking.
- Service fees are generally non-refundable.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation policy in effect at the time of booking.
7. User Responsibilities
- Owners must ensure they have the legal right to rent out the timeshare.
- Guests must use the timeshare responsibly and in compliance with all resort rules.
- Both Owners and Guests agree not to misuse the Platform, including posting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content.
8. Disclaimers
- Rent My Timeshares does not verify ownership or legal rights to list a timeshare.
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of listings, the quality of accommodations, or the performance of any party.
- The Platform is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rent My Timeshares shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of (a) $100 or (b) the amount paid by you for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
10. Intellectual Property
- All content, trademarks, and branding on the Platform are owned by Rent My Timeshares or its licensors.
- You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
11. Privacy
- Your use of the Platform is also governed by our [Privacy Policy], which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
12. Termination
